Oooohhh, nice work, ladies! Very pretty, Judy Sims. And Pary, I love the farmhouse! It would look perfect in that farming section of Longview. :wave3:
(I love this cow. And you need him on that farm!) :cheesy:
ETA: I thought I would share a few screenshots of the lot I am working on; suggestions are welcome. I am working on a lot I am calling a "community college". It will have skill building items for sims just starting out, or sims who just like to go meet other sims. I am thinking about rebuilding it because it seems a bit too large to me; not the lot but the building, although the lot might work better if it were smaller, too. Currently it's on a 35x35 lot.
This building is very loosely based on a community college that just opened a brand new campus in the town where I work. It is mostly flat roofed and one story, but there are some modern elements such as a rather large, soaring asymetrical roof section over the center portion. Of course the real thing has windows in the upper section. Maybe someday we'll get two story windows for TS3! I miss those. :-/
Here is an outside shot of it. There are a couple of chess tables in the outdoor area, along with seating.
The pic below shows the entrance area with the reception and 'business office', and what could be a college advisor's office. Opposite of this, not shown, are restrooms. I know the colors are pretty bland, but then so is the college I modeled this after!
Moving down the hallway there is a lounge/study area for the students, shown below:
Just past the stairway is a small (as of yet undecorated) area with a books register and a food register.
And just beyond this is the PC lab.
Here is an overview shot of the upstairs. On the lower right side are the art/drafting "classroom". On the other side to that is the sculpting studio. In front of these two rooms is the inventing classroom, with a small restroom with a few showers for those sims who insist on setting themselves on fire. Also available around the inventing room are showers in a can!
On the left are two general purpose classrooms with some desks and tables. These could be used for whatever you want, maybe even a future daycare? Or the PC lab could be moved up here and the daycare could be downstairs. We'll have to wait and see how that profession works, of course! Maybe it would work better as an experimental chemistry lab.
So, like I said, feedback and comments are welcome!
