Custom Sims 3

Yume no Shima - Asian/Tropical lush set of islands.


Medium map. Group of small islands. Main Island, Island of the dead, and Hikari Island.
Flat ground. Distant terrain added so, you are on an island and can see the mainland.
All rabbit holes and most community lots included. Only a few houses to get started since most people like to build their own houses. All empty residential lots have a negative value, so can build a decent house and have it affordable.

There is a lot of room for building, and even some community lots still open for parks, campgrounds, bars..whatever you like.

**edit** I also uploaded an empty lot version for those who like to do their own building. This version does require Ambitions for the plank bridge and magnolia trees.

Apartment buildings by catalina_45 at MTS - They are gorgeous and I cannot make a decent apartment for the life of me, and really didn't want the shell apartments as they just did not fit in my world.

The other housing lots, not sure where they came from, have been sitting on my hard drive for awhile now. If anyone claims them, I will post credit here.

So green and so pretty!!! I really really love the green of the islands!!!!

Very nice island world. It is beautiful from the pictures. I know you put a lot of hard work into it. I always love all the beach areas and it is really my favorite type of world. Good job!!! ;)

Thank you :) Hopefully the lack of some lots won't bother you. I got to the point where the rest of the lots other than housing, were going to need some serious CC, and didn't want anyone to have to dl a bunch of stuff.

Thank you! I think I'm going to add a second version with all empty lots as well, as interest was expressed on the Sims3Blog. Will also remove fountains so people without LN can use it.

Ooh, that sounds like a good idea, but you don't have to have LN to use the fountains! You know those updates EA passes out after each expansion pack? I have fountains, half-walls, all the patterns, etc., just not vampires, clubs, interactions, and that kind of thing. Shoot, my Sims even roll up wants to buy hot tubs and form groups (even though they can't do any of that stuff)! That is one really beneficial thing I learned by waiting to get expansion packs.

The empty lot one is available now! Darn, wish I would have checked your post before deleting fountains lol. Oh well, there was only one in a lake, the other two were in one of the parks that I left, but removed fountains. Easy enough to place though. This does require Ambitions though, for plank bridge and magnolia trees.

I'm downloading the no building version, might even get to check it out in-game today. :D

EDIT: Feedback: I downloaded the empty version

-Easy to install
-Run well on little config: tested on a Athlon x2, 3G RAM, 240 GT graphic card.
-Fluid and fast. All settings at medium.
