okay, so I've made my world ready to be edited in the game. But here's the error I get when I click the sims 3 plumbob on create a world (the one that lets you edit in game)
any help would be greatly appreciated S:
(I have tried to reinstall WA and HELS, but I would like to try to avoid reinstalling all my expansion packs cause there's alot [I have all the expansion packs so it's gonna take super long to uninstall and install all of them again T_____T] S: )
CaW is updated with every EP. Right now your problem could be that your game version does not match CaW. Anytime you update the game through the launcher it changes your game version. If your game is fully patched (no matter what SP or EP's you have, you might need to redownload CaW. You them need to back-up your files and uninstall your current version of CaW and install the new one. Put your files back in and then you should have no problem with EIG.

I actually did exactly that yesterday and I still got the same error afterwards S:
sorry I should have mention I tried that in my first post S:
Where do I see if my game versions match up with the Create a World version? I can't seem to find it on google >____<
Version location information This tells you how to correct version discrepancies, but it also explains how to find your version number.
I wish I could help more. Maybe someone else will have a suggestion for you. If you are not a member of MTS (the site I linked you to) I strongly suggest you join, as their CAW information is great.
Hi Cecilia,
Back when I had my old laptop, which was a Toshiba Satellite C660--with an Intel HD integrated graphics chip. As you can imagine it wasn't great, and it would only run the game on low settings, any time I had the mirror reflection on, my game would automatically CTD. I watched a tutorial video on YouTube (as I was having the same issue) and It basically said, If you can't play the sims on medium-high settings you won't be able to use EIG. Even if you do manage to get EIG open it'll run poorly and have many glitches/errors.
If you could post your system specifications I can get a better sense of what your computer can or can't do.

If you have any mods in your game, get them out while using CAW. I used to have the same problem, but after removing the mods (you can put them in after using CAW again to play) it worked just fine.
