24-bit PNG Image for Testing Worlds
I am having a problem with this test PNG pic that Regina shared with me on the site. CAW is telling me that it is not 24 bit. It might have changed in the download or something. It is in png form and is 256x256. I don't know how to check for the 24 bit in my picture program.
Here is the file. Can someone tell me what to do or change it for me? I would appreciate it. File: Thanks, Judy
Blessings to you and yours.

RE: PNG pic
Here you go Judy. I happened to have the exact same image on my computer. It is still the original unchanged one Regina did.

I don't know what happened with my other one, but this one worked fine, thank goodness. I don't understand that bit stuff at all and have no idea how to change that. I may need some help with my real world pic. Regina did my last one for me. I will have to play with it and see what I can do. Blessings to you and yours.

RE: PNG pic
Judy, I don't understand it either and honestly I don't get why this thing requires a 24-bit .png when it would be so much simpler just to use a .png. I'm also not sure why all of a sudden that image quit working. You didn't happen to open it up in an image editor did you?
Thanks, Sookielee for saving that old one and coming to the rescue! :D BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful. |

No, I think I just saved it to my documents when you posted it for me. I don't know. I might have done something stupid to mess it up. Oh wait, it was in Bitmap form, so I did open it up in my paint program to fix the form to png. I guess I messed it up then. I don't know how that happened as the one Sookielee put up for me was fine. It was the right size and in png. Oh well, it was probably something I did.:bounce: Anyway, I got the file and opened my world with it. I am happy. Blessings to you and yours.

RE: PNG pic
It is super easy to accidentally say yes to saving a file when you close a program.

RE: PNG pic
Ooh, good point, one I did not think of! I've done that too so I learned that if I'm going to play around with an image to make a copy then play around with the copy instead of the original. It only took one or two times of having to re-export something out of the game files for me to learn that one. :bounce:
