You have to have them all as well as the free world Riverside. Atlantis has some objects in it from Riverside, so if you don't have it, that might be one reason it is shutting down. It is free to download at the Sims3 site. And is your graphic card good enough? The world will require a good video card and updated video drivers I imagine. I have never had anyone have a problem with it shutting down their game. It might just be too much for your computer. It will shut down if the video card can't handle it. I have a laptop that does that with Sims3. It is odd as it handled all the EPs in Sims2 just great. I have a feeling the video drivers are outdated on it. Make sure your video drivers are updated for Sims3. I hope you can get the world opened. It is such a fun play. Let me know if you find anything to help.
Blessings to you and yours.

You have to have those expansions and the free world since I used trees, plants and objects from those expansion packs and world. I did not use anything from a stuff pack. There is one store item you will need for the aquarium and that is the Posiden statue, which I think is free, but not sure. It is not required, but will not be in the game if you don't have it. Try downloading it again when you get updated with the rest of the expansions, patches and Riverside. I am most sure it will play then.
Blessings to you and yours.

RE: Atlantis Renaissance
Hi, Jonalyn! :wave3: I've had first-hand experience with loading worlds that needed Riverview without it installed (as in I forgot to install it after I had reinstalled my game) and I can say for sure that alone shouldn't cause it to close like that. In my case, every time I did that, the Riverview objects just went missing.
One thing you could try that will be super easy is deleting the cache files from the My Documents area of your game. Every time you play your game, data gets added to some of them and eventually the game can just choke on them. If that doesn't work, try renaming your Sims 3 directory in My Documents then start your launcher which will create a brand new one. Now install only Riverside and Atlantis Renaissance and take the game for a test spin. Even if one of those thing works I would still look into system specs. How fast is your processor, how much RAM do you have, what kind of video card are you using, etc. As Judy suggested, try updating your video card drivers and check which version of Direct X you're running as well. RE: Atlantis Renaissance
Thanks for the beautiful world. I feel like I need to make all the sims match the theme... I cannot wait for the task!
I only have one problem occur, and this might be on my side, but City Hall's rabbit hole does not work. Everyone else works except city hall. I cannot "tour city hall" "Join Political Career" or any other option usually that can be done. Do you know if I broke something by looking at it in Edit Town Mode? |

I so happy you are pleased with it. As for the city hall, is the rabbit hole rug there??? It should be at the door of the front steps on the second floor. If not, then you need to get Jinx's city hall rug or goggle TSR for the rabbit hole rugs there. They are free. I don't know why it would not work if that is not the problem. When I tested it, it worked fine. Let me know if that was the problem. Enjoy your new world. Blessings to you and yours.

Jynx's rabbit hole rugs are here so no need to go elsewhere to find them. :)
