Ok Here it is, Hope the pics are ok know, I called this lot a Small Romantic GetAway Park, don't let the name fool you, its a Park for all age's, It has everything your heart desire's, It has a playground where the kids can play while there mom or dad can goto the entertainment center were there is music or someone playing the Piano and while there they can dance and get something at the juice bar, at night the disco lights come's on and its time to boogie, if they want live music they can goto the rec center, in there you have your restrooms, a live band and chess and fooseball tables, you also can put on some soft music and sit next to an open fireplace, if you get hungry you can goto the BBQ Food Center, you can buy food at the register and sit down and enjoy your meal, everything you see there is mirrors to each side so it can reflex the image or the mountians or the sky and water along three edge's of the food center, so if you want to eat fish you can just catch one yourself, and yes in the restroom's there is a toddler potty so bring along the whole family for a fun night or day out at the park, It is fully lighted for your safety, and alot of place to sit down and we believe in a clean park structure, there is recycle bins all around the park along the side of the bench's.

Oooh lots - me likey!

Nice work Ghost and Shadow. While both lots are very colorful and youthful I can see activities on them for all ages -- so good job.

Ghost - I really like the fountain water spray in the pond, the glass walls in the pool, the observation deck, and that toddlers have their own playroom (they're usually so neglected). A tree on the lot would have been a nice addition. Also, we can see how the roof is stacked in the front view pic and the glass walls of the pool in the pool entry level pic so the pic allotments used for the outside pic of the pool level and the roof stacking pic would have been better used for a closer look at two of the recreation areas like the art room, toddler room, etc.

Shadow - I really like the outside dining area surrounded by water. The kids playground is very colorful like kids like (but I didn't understand why it was carpeted). The entertainment center and rec rooms are places where I could imagine teen Sims gathering to hang out and party though the spaces could also be used by adult Sims. Love that you included a piano too. It really is an all ages lot. However, what's going on with the pix ? Gridlines, no overhead floor plan pic, no Sims' eye view (street level) front view pic. (?)

---------------------------------------------------------------

About pictures --

First, I just want say that the pix requirements are there to help you best showcase your lot.

8 pix is usually enough to show most of a lot (home or community) and not so many as to make the viewer feel overwhelmed by pix. I know I have at times when uploading or doing a challenge thought "Shoot! How am I suppose to show this lot in only 8 pix?! It is not always easy but it serves to make us evaluate what is best about our creation and use the pix to showcase those aspects.

The reason for limiting collages is that it is better that people get a really good look at the best your lot has to offer then for them to get a reduced view or distracted view of everything on the lot (which can happen when viewing smaller images bunched together in a collage).

Having the front view pic of the lot gives people an idea of how the lot looks in the neighborhood.

The floor plans allow people to see how the space could be utilized by Sims in game play and gives the viewer an idea of how the lot would be to play (Is there flow from place to place? Are there routing issues? Does the placement of objects make sense? Etc).

And as for gridlines--well, they just look bad and diminish the look of a lot.

So I can take out the stacking picture and the pool water picture and put some better ones in... :)

(Why do most trees make the fruit trees look like bushes when they are in the same view?)

Sure, the same details are visible in your overhead floor plan pix so you can use those pic allotments to show us further details of other parts of your lot. I'd love to get a sim's eye view look at some of those recreational areas, especially the toddler's room. But before you repost, I feel compelled to remind you that you have $90,000 simoleons left (nearly half the budget) which you do not have to spend but is there in case you wanted to add any objects or more deco details like wall art or TP or rugs, etc.

 Ghost, my apologies, I didn't catch that the playground area was bordered with fruit trees. The tops of fruit trees are so round that in overhead shots they do look like bushes. But you have a sim's view pic of the playground in the collage and I just didn't register the trees there. This is the problem with collages -- there is so much to look at with the multiple images that things can get overlooked. That, and I'm getting old eyes --:cheesy:

Sorry my friend. :)

Wow, Dantes, the lot looks like a resort without the hotel! I like that you have outdoor space on all the levels. The music stage area looks terrific with its open floor, covered stage, and the wall paper was a great choice. The kids playroom could have used a splash of color on the walls or floor but an overall nice layout and some really great details like the flags and sign in front as well as the gated entranceways. The lot is chock full of activities for Sims of all ages. Well done.

Thank you Suzetter. I'm really proud of this lot. Thank you

Dantes - Good lord that's a full on resort! It looks phenomenal, too! Great job!

All the other entries look great too, nice work Shadow and Ghost!

All right, I've simply called this one "The Hangout". I think my family would enjoy it! See what you think. (Please keep in mind that I only have the base game, so none of the extra cool items that came in later expansion packs are present, like the "Makeover station" or whatever it is! LOL) I've also made a slide show for those who want to get a few more views. Maybe I'll add that later.

Cost (Furnished, or course): 124,976

Because part of the original requirement was to make a place teens could go to keep entertained without causing so much trouble around town, this lot is geared heavily towards them.

The Hangout boasts a swimming pool, kitchenette with counter seating, a juice bar, plenty of room to sit around and hang with friends, foosball tables, a large deck, pool, swings, a secret romantic area, a screening room for movie night... whew! Plenty of ways to hang out safely with friends and family alike. There is also a more quiet area downstairs for little ones to play while grownups watch them. In short, the teens rule upstairs, but everywhere else is suitable for anyone. Enjoy!

(Edited for clarity and to compliment Dantes,Shadow and Ghost)

As for sharing lots... I don't know, Suzetter, I haven't yet decided whether or not I want to share any of my files. I'm still too new to be sure. Also, I rarely play the lots I build, and wouldn't want to share something that doesn't work or look good elsewhere. Maybe at some later time...

Thank You Dantes, Your lot, geez what else can I say, are you an architecture in real life? Cause if so, I think people will buy your blue prints to all your lots, The dinner outside is what I wanted to make people feel one with nature, the mirrors on both sides of the outside diner, I wanted the people to feel when they look up into the mirrors they can see the mountain skyline, Suzetter the carpet in the playground is what I wanted to look like back when I was a kid, they had rubber looking like that but in black, and since they don't have rubber looking like that, the carpet comes close to it, so just imagine its rubber protection against kids getting hurt.

The architecture is the real passion for me, but I am not an architect. Héhéhé. It's probably the most beautiful compliment which I received from all my life. Thank you very much shadOw.

Thank you Dantes. I'm learning! Recoloring is my saving grace. That and patterns. ;)

Ooh, everyone's builds are looking sooo good! :D

This is an awesome challange, but I don't think I'll be able to finish mine for the deadline. I started a bit, but life's been in the way. I was in a different city for the past few days, and my frog just died after hours of force feeding him. I'll join the next one.

Everyone's lots are looking great! :D
Good luck!

Bah, do something just for the fun. We are here for that you know. It's very friendly, as the bowling of Wednesday evening. :danceegyptian:

And, sorry for your frog.
