Suzetter, however you want to upload your lots is fine. Many people use the launcher, I just prefer not to because it takes so much extra time and Sims3Pack files are much larger than .package files for the same thing.

Yes, figuring out the lots in the game is time-consuming. I place a lot, make any necessary modifications, save that lot to the bin, then delete the original lot. This leaves a brand-new copy of the lot in the library so I copy and paste that file to a sub-directory and rename it. I can tell it's the one I just saved because I have the files sorted by date saved and it has the most recent time stamp. :)

BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful.
