RE: Custom Lots Downloaded in .package Format
Hi, Simstatic! :wave3: You're not doing anything wrong. Unfortunately, as soon as something (an object, pattern, etc.) is extracted from a Sims3Pack file and installed as a .package file the game recognizes it as a completely different piece of CC. As far as I know the only way to get that CC to be recognized as what's in the house is to install it all via the launcher.
When I download houses, in most cases I really don't want the tag-along CC (I'm very choosy about which CC I have in my game) so I extract the houses then drop those .package files in the library then take care of anything missing in the game, delete the original lot from the bin then save the updated version back to the bin. BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful. |
