EA Remodel of Aero Dynamo

   

As we all know EA has proven not to be the best builder for The Sims. One of the houses that could use a bit of remodeling is the Aero Dynamo. This is a lot that came with the base game and is in the empty house bin. It might be hard to find if you have numerous houses stored in there, so grab the scroll bar and wiz it all the way to the right. You will find that the Aero Dynamo situated with the lots that have no icon on them.

The house sits (must be placed on) a 30x20 lot and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Priced at $46,715 furnished and $40643 unfurnished. Although the house has a modern feel to it, it is obvious that it was built in the mid 20th century. Your job: REMODEL it. Now the rules.

• The lot can be placed on any 30x20 lot in any neighborhood you choose.
• All wallpaper, flooring and furniture may be changed/replaced.
• The walls must remain where they are. You may however change a full wall to a half wall.
• You may change the purpose/use of any and all rooms as long as the walls stay put.
• Any content made by EA may be used in your remodel. Yes, this includes pay store content.
• Window and door may be changed out, but stay within the same place in the wall. In other words you can replace 3 single windows with a triple window or a double door with 2 single doors (I will allow doors to be changed to windows and visa versa)
• You may close in the carport because this is one of the most common remodels people do in real life. If you do only add a straight wall across the front of the carport.
• Landscape Landscape Landscape!
• You may add a basement, but it can not extend beyond the walls of the house. Take a look at the attached screenshot as a basement could not be place under the patio on the back of the house
• Hexamter's Spiral Stairs can be used by anyone that does not have Generations.
• When posting your submission, please include both the furnished and unfurnished price. We want to know how much you spent on your remodel, so no using MC or awesomemod to depreciate the lot or any items on the lot.
  

If I have forgotten anything just ask or let me know. You have until March 7th to sign up and this challenge is open to all members of CS3. Just post that you want to join and I will add your name to the participant list. You have until Monday March 26th at noon Eastern to post your remodel. At that time I will add a poll so our wonderful community can vote for the winner.

Picture Requirement

1. Maximum of 8 Pictures to show off your work, Collaged pics are allowed except for required screenshots.
2. REQUIRED: A screenshot of the front of the house from a sims eye view.
3. REQUIRED: Layout pictures of all floors. Layout pics will be considered 1 picture.
4. The other 6 pics I am going to let you decide how best to show off your hard work for the voter to see.

P.S.: Can we assume we can add walls on the inside, but not the outside?

Jaguwar: You may replace existing walls with half walls and add one straight wall to enclose the carport that is all. You may also use fences in any way you want, inside and out.

Dantes, you always end up doing something (or things) that I find highly creative, and firmly ... I don't even know what the word is I'm looking for. I LOVE this house! there's a crispness melded with a distinctive style... I dunno, I always feel... impressed is the best I can come up with, can't find the right word.
In short, good job!

That fireplace is brilliant, btw, it's a real statement inside and out!
