Meet the Xuhak family, Dad Ambrose, Mom Rhin and the teenage twins Donat and Donatela. Each members traits and LTW's are on the attached pics.This wonderful back story was written by our own uber talented Ghost. Please enjoy reading.

Rhin applied for a job with the local intelligence agency on their home world. It rained heavily on the day of her job interview, and she was caught unprepared because the weather report was simply calling for partly cloudy. Being hydrophobic, she hated being wet. She had enough self-discipline to realize that she was going to have to tolerate it if she wanted to get to the interview, but she didn't like it. Being grumpy, she was in a bit of a bad mood anyway. And being dramatic... she mananged to make a very bad impression on her interviewer by emphasizing too many times the fact that she was willing to tolerate a rainstorm to get there. He didn't even say "Don't call us, we'll call you." It was simply "Don't call us." as he threw her resume into the trash can.

She tried to calm down before going home, but Ambrose was perceptive enough to see that she was upset and asked her about it. She told him, in her very dramatic fashion. He listened to her complaints that her dreams were shattered if they stayed there because she was never going to get another chance at that job and her life was completely ruined! Being over-emotional himself, he couldn't contradict her. So he jokingly suggested leaving their world for another one where she might be able to have a second chance at the job of her dreams. Rhin liked the idea. Suddenly it was no longer a joke. He was interested in aliens anyway, and this will give him opportunities to learn the medical techniques of two worlds. He is also interested in the local literature and culture.

Donat realized that a new world means new adventures, new kinds of vehicles, and even new fish to catch. He was instantly in favor of the idea. He tends to live for the moment, without worrying about the past or the future, so he has already forgotten about his old home.

Donatela was a bit more reluctant, but she did like the idea of having exotic, good looking guys thinking that -she- was exotic. And a new world might have its own compensations for having to change schools and leave her friends behind. At least nobody at this school knows about the time she fell down the stairs and ripped her dress. And she has discovered some very good fruit and vegetables.

Hey Sookielee, cute aliens! What type of file is in the zip file? Would that be a library file or a sims 3 pack file?

oops, it is a sims3pack file. I could not find the package file at all. I was suppose to have uploaded these quite a while back.

This family is really alien looking and amazing, Sookie. I love how you fixed their traits and stuff on the presentations. And the story was great, Ghost. Good job to all. Sunshine

I must agree Ghost did a fantastic job writing the back story. I feel bad that I didn't get this family posted till now, I have had Ghosts story since November. I hope she will forgive me tardiness.

As I said at the time I had fun writing the story. I don't mind that it took until now to post the family. I just assumed that real life (or new ep's and patches) was getting in the way. They do look like a fun family.

That is a mouthful, Ghost! I know for myself real life is just crazy and hectic at best sometimes. Then you have new EP's and patches that mess up so much! I've been play testing after installing Showtime for quite a while now and am still trying to find out what is wrong; there have been some bad issues, however in the past I've experienced the same thing with other EP's, so I know it's just a matter of time before this all gets worked out. It surely makes it hard to get other things done, though! :headbang:
