It's time to pass along the torch

It's something I absolutely did not want to do, ever. I fell in love with CS3 very shortly after the first time I found it and when it needed a new owner I was honored and thrilled at the prospect of taking over.

I had a lot of plans for its future but life had different plans for me. For a while I was able to juggle both but that isn't working out so well right now. It's been one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make but before I manage to run the site any further into the ground I am going to hand over the reigns.

Sookielee and her husband have agreed to take over. This won't happen overnight and I will help them to make a smooth transition. I know everyone will do everything they can to help out and I'm confident that in the end CS3 will become the best it's ever been.

Well Regina it was a great run with you, you took us to the next level and made this one of the best sims site I have ever been on, I'm sure Sookielee will do the best job for this site, I do check it everyday and I post from time to time but I do have other things I am doing and I always manage to check this site out and see if any post needs answer, well I hope you stay with us and just stay part of the family here, and thank you for being here for us, for giving us a nice home for the sims.

You're welcome, Shad0w, and I want to thank you for all the help you've given as well! CS3 hasn't had a large active member base for quite some time, but that's proven something: a forum doesn't need to be huge to be good, and I agree, this is one of the best there is.

I shouldn't be disappearing all together. After all, I still have to finish my worlds and such. It's just that I have a bunch of stuff in my personal life that needs more attention than I can give it and take care of this site too. I kept thinking everything would come together and settle down after a while but that's just not happening.

I must admit I am a bit nervous, but I so enjoy this site it is worth it for this old dog to learn many new tricks. When it comes to managing a forum, I have no experience or knowledge at the moment. I just hope everyone care bare with me while I learn.

You have my support. As I said elsewhere, I've seen this site go through Wes, Fire, and now Regina. I wish you the best of luck, and hope we can get this site growing again. I have never run a site, but I'm good for moral support. :)

Regina, good luck with your personal issues in your life. I was worried that you would not be coming back on the site, so I was relieved to see you on the forums. You were the number reason I hung in there when I first arrived on your doorstep full of questions. Regina, I want to thank you for having the courage to do what needs to be done. I've run many sites, and I know how much of your time it can drain from your life. I have seen sites disappear or otherwise flounder because their managers were too possessive, too full of ego, to let someone else take over. This is especially true if the owner is also the founder. I'm glad those before you had the wherewithal to do the same, actually, or I never would met the wonderful people here.

I assume we'll still see you around, even after Sookielee and her hubby take over. I wish you luck with whatever's going on in your personal life.

Sookielee, don't worry, the core group of people here are really, really good, they, we, will help all we can. Have fun with it! :) We're here for you.

I realize I've been absentee a lot over the past year through my pregnancy, my guy's graduation from school and masters prep...and sadly that won't be changing much over the next 6 months, but I wanted to make sure I thanked you both and that I will be glad to be able to still stop in as often as I can in this new phase of my life, even if I'm not very vocal right now.

You were the first to greet and welcome me & The Isle of Catarina Sims to this wonderful site. I thank you for your kind and friendly manner. I have always found it to be very important for a leader to have these attributes. I believe that is why CS3 has been so very successful.

There's a while, i chose this forum to uploading my work and i'd decided that would make it exclusively here. I've never regretted this decision.

You have make good work with this forum Regina and i'm convinced that Sookielee will also make it here. That is doubtless.

I love this small community and consider good to stay there. ;)
