As all of you can tell the portal page looks totally different. I had to remove the pro-portal that we had before. I do plan on getting our affiliates and favorite sites back up on our site. I just need some time to get things sorted out. So far it seems the few plug-ins we have are working, but I do need to get newer versions of some of them. There are also a few others I am wanting to add. Here are just the ones I can think of right now.

1. 1st uploaded image displays as thread icon in Sims 3 Downloads and World Index categories.

~~2. Image viewer that will allow you to view attached pics like a slideshow.~~

3. Sidebar that will contain information and links.

~~4. Fix the parts of the Theme that got hosed with the update.~~

5. A drop down menu in the header to make navigation a breeze.

Sookielee, those all sound like very useful tools. I tell you, you two have been doing a bang up job with the site. Thanks for all the hard work, and, please, give your hubby a big hug for all of his.

Oops AuntieLynds, I didn't even consider that when I took Ghosts suggestion for ranks. I must say now that you mentioned it, I can't help but :giggle: Maybe I could change it to Simolean Master.

I am so happy that you guys like the new look. I actually gave Regina a call before I made it default so she could see it first. Afterall that is the Shire in the header.

I love the new look (And the Shire picture :) ) I agree that you are doing a wonderful job, and the plugins you are planning to add sound useful.

(I hadn't thought about the implications of Motherlode, either, but I'm glad it was good for a few giggles.)

Our user titles are now gem names from the game. I will be replacing the house with the hammer with a gem icon.

2 things down. I am feeling good. If you have problems with the new Lightbox plugin that allows you to view attached images like a slideshow, please post in the Update Bug Report thread

EDIT: However, I do have a suggestion. At the moment it is possible to download an item straight from the portal page. Even as a guest. I think that that does not encourage passing traffic to look deeper in the board and it might be an idea to remove the attachment box from the portal announcement template.
