Sims 3: Supernatural
Sims VIP has posted an article about the (as yet unofficial) upcoming EP7 slated for September, if what Amazon Italy has listed is to be believed.

If it's true I can finally have a REAL zombie apocalypse in Sims 3.

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
With the few true monsters/supernatural being that we have gotten in TS3 it does make sense that EA was saving them for one EP. I personally would love many of the aspects of a supernatural EP. Some of the creatures I might not want, namely your fav Pary. They creep me out to no end.

The fairies sound cool and my daughter is excited about them. I'm thinking a fairy would go well with the unicorn. Thanks for the info Pary. :D

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
Sounds interesting. I have barely gotten into the last 2 EPs at this rate, so I don't anticipate I will be jumping into the next EP very quickly, but who knows? My life will SURELY slow down sometime soon, and this EP looks intriguing to me from the standpoint of it offering some new options. Witch, werewolf, zombie, and fairy...so will the "secret" supernatural critter be Bigfoot? lol.

While I wouldn't bank on this, it seems that the leaked EPs posted with release dates are true more often than not. Anyway, I have to get back to entertaining the big kid and making sure the little one is okay.

This new EP sounds like a lot of fun. I look forward to it. I hope they have lots of new objects and build stuff. Fairies will be great as I am a big fan of fantasy.Sunshine

Blessings to you and yours. Flower_32x32

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
EA Russia actually posted about this monday 6/11, I think it was. I did watch the trailer for Supernatural, and I must say I am intrigued. I will be watching the broadcast on tuesday6/19 if at all possible. Here is the official announcement from EA.

The Sims 3Supernatural website and pre-order page.

Play as supernatural Sims:
  • witches
  • wizards
  • werewolves
  • more intriguing vampires
  • fairies
  • Zombies
Each with their own magical abilities, traits, and interactions. Zombification: Mix a special elixir to create shuffling, brain-hungry monsters of your very own. Chomp on other Sims to spread the love and wreak havoc.

Things you will be able to do:
  • Race around the arena on your broomstick
  • visit the gypsy caravan
  • preen in front of your magic mirror
  • awaken the classic character of Bonehilda, the quirky skeletal maid.

This is way too cool:
Peashooter – This steadfast ally is ready to defend your house from zombified Sims and other unsavory characters like burglars and repo men! It actually shoots peas at unwanted guests! This is in the Limited Edition Version of The Sims 3 Supernatural.

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
it kinda ticked me off with showtime, because that stuff was already done in a way with Late Night. So how are vampires supposed to be different anyway?

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
My take on the Late Night Vampires vs. Supernatural: Late Night ones are pretty tame, when you think about it. Very similar to TS2 ones. I have a feeling the Supernatural ones will be much meaner and vampier. (is that a word?) By putting so much of the fantasy, monsters and "other" beings in one EP, it gives player the choice to have that in their game or instead of minimal choice about it like with TS1 & 2.

It appears EA is introducing the impish and meaner side of the supernatural beings with this one. Heck, the zombies actually bite people! The fairies play practical jokes like magically putting someone in the skivvies.

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
I was just reading on the official Forum, omg!

We are going to get Rocking Chairs. Sims can rock in them, plus rock babies/toddlers in them and read a book to them while you rock them. So cool.

There is also suppose to be a way to manage the supernatural beings, celebs, paparazzi and vampires. I imagine you can control the number of them that are allowed and such. There has been some reference to managing strays, but I can not confirm it one way or the other. From what I have read I think it will be no.

The fact that we will be able to create supernaturals in CAS is so neat. You will even be able to create supernatural kids too. There is a hint to a new skin tone, plus all the "features" used to create a supernatural being are available for normal sims as well.

This EP is sounding better and better to me.

I like that idea a great deal, sometimes those "strays" get out of hand...

RE: Sims 3: Supernatural
Yes, that's why I limit them with Twallan's mod, oh I can't remember the name of it, but you can limit the quantity of all the strays in your hood. It sounds like there are some good things about the new EP. Adding more interactions with the little ones is much better. I tell you, after loading TS2 and playing it for a while I know why I missed it. I love having my sims be able to interact more with their children. Watching them blow on the babies tummies is oh, so cute. Bathing the toddlers became a special time between sibblings and parents with the toddler.

Also, I really have missed the Smussle. You never know in TS2 when someone is going to start to Smussle. It's just so funny. There are a lot of romantic interactions missing from TS3 as well that are much better in TS2. Oh, I guess I'm ranting. . .

Anyway, I do hope this EP adds good stuff for the kiddies and adding the supernaturals. The rocking chairs I have missed too. Yay! Sunshine
