RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I know I don't have 14, but your call. If you want 14 you will get 14
Plus my roof project ended up being put on hold. Inge and I discovered a bug in their program :bag:

If you could build 14, then 14 it is! But no need to hurry, since I have a lot of other stuff to do while you're building.

Every time I tried it I got another problem. It usually takes them a day or so to find that particular bug and squash it. By the time you're ready to add roofs you should be able to make them.

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I thought I could show what I have been doing today... :)
An overview of the world... I have added new buildings to the town centre. These three are EA-made from the Town Life stuff pack. From the left we have a gym, a park and a laundromat. I copied the business lot from Sunset Valley but made some changes, for example I switched the office building for the Riverview one. And to the left I built a matching bookstore lot myself. I'm not sure about that one yet, but I think it turned out pretty well. I have got some more houses placed in the Bay Hill Area. As of now, this is probably the most finished part of the town. A closer view at the new Bay Hill homes, made by Judy, Sookielee, Spacerox and Pary. This lovely mansion, by Judy, got a really nice seaview lot. I even named the street Barberry Street, which was the name Judy had given the house. I actually did the same with Bay Hill Drive, the big house at the end of that road was named Bay Hill Drive. :P Judy's farm found its place right beside the science lab. I figured a stubborn farmers' couple living there who refused to leave their home when the scientists moved in up here. ![]() Welcome to Cherry Tree Lane! The Alto-Goth-Landgraab area has been a little spiced up. I copied the pond lot from Summer Hill Court in Sunset Valley, and added the bistro and made some small changes. Pary's White Farmhouse moved in here, it's right in the farming area. I end this update with a Edit Town shot where you can see all the lots I have placed, if you are interested in that. RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I am always very busy with my projects when I start them and then things get slower.
My last world, Crestview, I created like 2/3 of it a week in January but then I had a looong break and finished it in May. :P This time I probably won't have a five months break though.

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I haven't been doing a lot on this the last days but I have a little progress for you... :)
Mostly I have been working downtown with the city centre and well, here's an overview. I added in Mirabello Plaza from Sunset Valley, because I think it's a neat community lot. But since I already had the Divisadero bookstore in my world I went for the spa, which I didn't have. Then there is a second grocery store but hey, which larger town in real life has only one grocery store? I switched to the Late Night one though, since it fit the colour theme better. Then what I have been doing is to change colours and styles at all the downlot lots to make them more of a unity. I think the Central Park could be the best example of this, as you can see how it still has its look but the red brick theme has been changed to one that matches the crosswalks on the street, and the town in general, better. I have done the same way to parking lots and such, giving them a colour that matches the street colour. This little neighbourhood here is going to hold some of Sookielee's Postwar Traditional lots. The three of them that I have have been put down and in the future there will be more (hopefully)! RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
This is looking very nice! I've been working on my own Sunset Valley, and a Riverview. I like them but there are a number of issues EA left behind.
I don't plan to upload either of them because they won't be different enough from the originals to feel comfortable doing so, but I'm enjoying my little project anyway. The houses I build will probably be uploaded just not the world. |

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I really like it, even when I will not be able to play it. My sony vaio doesn't let me play large worlds, a sim day would even on speed 3 take 10 minutes. And after a sims week, the game would crash totally.
But like I said, I like it! Visit my new world: Camden Creek Become my friend: http://mypage.thesims3.com/mypage/CathrynMC |

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
Oh, that's too bad, CathrynMcCoy. At least nothing stops you from looking at large worlds. :P
It's time for an update of what has been going on in town since last time! An overview of the town. The street with Sookielee's Gambrel houses has had a few changes. I got rid of that extra street behind them and curved the road a little. This street has now been filled with Sookielee's Postwar lots. Unlike the original Sunset Valley there will be plenty of starters for your sims to begin their lives in if they don't want an empty lot! The waterfall from Sunset Valley is still here and I have put down a lot beside it. I can't decide really if I'm going to keep it as an empty residential lot or if the Criminal Hideout should be well, hidden up here. Wouldn't that be a perfect place for them to hide? Sunset. City at night. All my creations (worlds, lots, sims) can be found here: http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/i...board=57.0 |

Oh my goodness, Looking so Good! I can't wait to see this one done.
I wonder if we will be getting mew lots with Supernatural, if so wouldn't the waterfall be a great place for that to hide. |

Ah, like the Gypsy lot for beside the waterfall. It would be a good spot for Gypsies, since they usually live out of town in the woods and such. :D
