RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
I like the idea of placing the criminal hideout next to the waterfall, but how about a tomb under the criminal hideout? That would be a challenge! I want to build a tomb for so long now ... how about finding some tutorials and starting building tombs?

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
Update!
First out an overview, because I love overviews. I have aaalmost settled for a name but I'm not sure if it fits the town itself. Meadowmore is a name I have used before for a now abandoned project and I like it very much. But I don't know if this city is meadowy enough for that name. What do you think? My sister wanted to build something in Sims so I got her into building some for my world, hehe. A modern beach villa was the result. This is a yet not finished Culture Centre downtown, made by my sister aswell. It's designated as an Art Gallery but will have a lot more on it. It's a little inspired by Kulturhuset in Stockholm (pic: http://jobbcoach.files.wordpress.com/201...rhuset.jpg ) This house is from Sunset Valley, but I think I downloaded it from here because someone had redesigned it somehow. This beautiful beach house went into the beach area. I think the terrain painting on the lot will have to be redone a little though. Natasha Una's house from Desiderata Valley, also made by someone here at CS3, is in my world. I thought that some of her ancestors could live here since I am making my world in the same place in time as Sunset Valley. And I end this update with another overview. :) All my creations (worlds, lots, sims) can be found here: http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/i...board=57.0 |

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
Thank you.
There are actually plenty of your lots in it, most of them on the hill where your Bay Hill lot is.

RE: My Sunset Valley [Working Title]
The fact that you posted here today motivated me to do some work on this world so here is a little update.
![]() I always start my updates with an overview so here is a view looking down at the town from the mountains. I wasn't really satisfied with this area so I re-did it. I bulldozed the farm and the science/hospital lot and replaced them with a film studio and the science lot from Sunset Valley. That meant there was no hospital in town so I build one downtown. The fountains in front of it are shaped like hospital crosses. I added a sidewalk next to this house so that the side entrance wouldn't look misplaced. This is what the town looks like from map view. I would like to introduce to you some families that are returning from earlier games in this town. My world is set in the same time as Sunset Valley and Riverview so many of the returning sims are actually dead in The Sims 2 and some are just younger versions of themselves. :) I have linked all families and sims to their article at The Sims wiki so if you are interested you can just click the names. If you visit the family articles you will be able to see family trees and see how they are connected to living sims in TS2 that you might know of. Landgraab family - Malcolm I (there actually is no first Malcolm in the TS2 family tree but I thought he would be a great addition to the family) - Malcolm II - Marion - Malcolm III Buckingham family - Blair - Virginia - Margaret Goth family - Frida Jacquet family - Jerome - Suzanne - Yves - Xavier (in the UK version of TS2, Yves is named Xavier, but I thought it would be fun to have them be twin brothers instead of the same person) Jeffress family - Sabastian - Nicole - Denise Una family - Mikhail - Yuri - Alexei Kozlov family - Pavel - Keesa - Larisa - Katerina Aspir family - Manuel - Paulina - Raul Gieke family - Carl - Lucy Larson family - Alvin - Elise Goodie family - Herbert - Faith I have made up trait combinations and things like that for all of these sims aswell but I thought that there should be at least some surprises if you actually play the world later. ;) All my creations (worlds, lots, sims) can be found here: http://www.den.simlogical.com/denforum/i...board=57.0 |

The fountains at the hospital are super cool. All those links to the families really gave me a walk down memory lane.

That looks great Gurra! I really love what you're doing with this; this has me excited now in expectation. I really want to download this when it's complete. It's so much fun reading about the families and such too.
I have one sim at Simlogical.com. You will find the rest of my creations here at CS3. Happy Simming!
