RE: Hallooo!
Yep, Tonya, I've had so many things like that too, they just drag on and you feel miserable for what seems like forever. I think it's entirely possible for a person to spend almost their whole life sick like that.

I'm ranking this one in the worst top ten of lifetime bugs. The hubby went back to work today--I'll bet he doesn't make it past noon before he has to come home for the day--poor guy said he'll be fine as long as he doesn't have to do much more than keep the shop warm. These are the times I'm very thankful he works close to home and his boss would rather pay them to stay home sick than work them to death. You know, that happened to one of my cousins. He was a young man, not even mid-twenties. He caught the flu and stayed home for a couple of days then his boss insisted that he come to work because they had an order to get out. He went into quick pneumonia and was dead within a short time. His poor boss, I don't think he ever did recover mentally from that--these were super nice people who ran a small business and had pretty much adopted my cousin when he went to work for them. That is how people die from flu, though, and why emergency rooms end up filling up with people. Companies don't want to give people time off to be sick and get well again but they need to do that. It doesn't even make sense to me. If a company had a piece of equipment that wasn't functioning properly wouldn't they take it offline and get it repaired? Employees are often the largest asset and the one with the most investment. It's fool hardy not to take care of that.

This was/is a weird flu. Basically you cough. Then you cough some more. It's a dry cough and warm air helps. After two days my muscles were so sore I could barely move. I remember a headache too. And the fevered dreams, waking up in bed trying to remember who and where I was, making no sense of anything then drifting back off to somewhere. I'm very thankful I don't have a job I need to be at because most likely by now it wouldn't be there. Yesterday the sum of my energy was spent on putting a bathroom rug in the washer and hanging it up to dry. I'm hoping today brings a little better than that.

RE: Hallooo!
Sorry to hear your household caught that terrible flu bug. Your description sounds like what I had not long ago, boy was I sick and my heart goes out to you guys. I ended up with laryngitis from all the coughing and it took a few weeks to get my voice fully back.

* Ghost hugs Regina

That does sound rather familiar to me, too, although the stuff I had keeps coming back for more. :( I hope yours stays gone once you get over it.

RE: Hallooo!
I sure hope you all do get that bug beat. Last evening I had a bad stomach bug hit and missed work today, but the worst of it feels like it's at bay at the moment. It's surely never any fun being sick. Sad_32x32 All I could do this morning was go back to bed after breakfast and sleep, must have been there around 5 hours. I finally stopped chilling after a while, guess I really needed sleep.

I have one sim at Simlogical.com. You will find the rest of my creations here at CS3. Happy Simming! Kiss_32x32
