The DiStefano Legacy

Introducing Antonio and Ava DiStefano, they are newlywed's and just moved into the beautiful and quaint little town of Victoria Isles! Antonio is Genius, Handy, Mean Spirited, Unflirty, and a Workaholic, with a LTW of becoming the Emperor of EVIL, while his beautiful wife Ava, is Over Emotional, Born Salesman, Neat, Dislikes Children, and a little on the Neurotic side, she has a LTW of Illustrious Author!



Antonio begins his new job as a Decoy in the Criminal Profession, but alas .... ends up spending the day in jail....not a very good start




meanwhile, back at home, Ava is working hard on her first Science Fiction Novel, but notices the bills have NOT been paid ....and with no money, and having not heard from Antonio, she has to sell the sofa, to pay the bills!



Finally, her beloved is home and they take out a their frustrations with a little pillow fighting



Now that they both feel better, it's time for bed ... maybe tomorrow will be a better day!

Things were looking up by day two .... Antonio brought home the bacon, and decided to cook it .... a fire broke out, and it costs them over $600.00 to repair the damage! With a balance of $0 in their bank account, they turned in for the night, and a burglar stole the only sofa they had left!!! What a day, Thank Goodness for Ava's writing abilities, her first novel was a success and will bring in a little royalties, she's climbing the celebrity ladder. After a little "woo hoo", they sleep peacefully, dreaming of better day's ahead! Although thoughts of babies are NOT on the top of the list for either of them....

lol ... really rough start ....this is the first time I've had a sim go to jail ... although I've never played a LTW of Evil Emperor starting in the criminal profession ... Antonio took Ana to the Bistro to celebrate. After all, she completed and published her first novel! Little did they know, that the next morning, while cooking breakfast for Antonio, Ana would set the kitchen on fire, and it will deplete the bank account to repair the damages :badday1: , so it looks like cereal and pb&j's are on the menu for awhile...hope the repo man doesn't come for the computer ....

Wow, talk about drama. I think you tied my legacy with that start CD. I must admit, I have not played a sim with the hates children trait. I can't wait to see how your family gets out of this pickle.

Good idea Sookielee! This story has been rather crazy. I'd have my sim harvest whatever crops grow around town too so they don't have to pay to fix meals, then I'd only let them eat salad and PB&J until they could cook better.

After an evening at the pool hall...and a few drinks .... Mr and Mrs DiStefano had quite an interlude in the shower ...



And it's a REALLY good thing that both are dreaming of a little one :giggle:...



because .... YEP ... you guessed it ... Ana woke running to the bathroom



and reality has just set in .... OMGosh ... I'M PREGNANT!!!!!



So with the "pitter patter" of little feet soon to be heard around the DiStefano household ... (Please GOD, let it be a boy!) Antonio better get the lead out, and start bringing home a decent paycheck ..... with only $2,000.00 in the bank, where will they get the funds to buy all the items for the nursery :hmm:

Trying everything they can to make extra money, Antonio plants a tomato in the yard, hopefully the beginning of a nice garden :coolthumbup: ... while Ava, has the opportunity to bake cookies for the school bake sale:


she burned both batches, which caused her so much distress that ...well...yep..you guessed it ... she went into labor , and just as they were settling down to a nice bowl of SOUP :giggle:





Happy to announce the birth of Benjamin DiStefano, who rolled Disciplined and Artistic :breakdance: and has some really strange toy in his crib????



Mommy is not doing well, since Daddy got a promotion, and is now on the night shift!


she finally registered as Self Employed after her 5th Novel, and is working hard to earn some extra bucks for toy's, potty, and highchair



:wacko: I was wondering why she wasn't getting the attention she deserved after 5 novels ... , she forgot to register as self-employed ...and totally exhausted from a lack of sleep, she's beginning her 6th novel ... hopefully a BEST SELLER !

If it weren't for bad luck, this first generation would have NO LUCK at all ..... Benjamin had his birthday party, and he is such a great kid ..... within 2 day's, he's potty trained, and walking and talking Sure wish I could go into CAS and so something with that hair ... :(



But since Antonio is working the night shift he had to leave the party and go to work, and ended up in JAIL again ... :facepalm: losing a day's pay! Returns home STARVED, and get's Soup ... again



Meanwhile, Ava is cleaning up after the party and the dishwasher broke .... refusing to hand over $50.00 to the repairman, she takes it upon herself to fix it .... and received the shock of her life ...



Teaching Benjamin to Walk...but a little "burnt-out" if you get my drift ...



Antonio does a few odd jobs ... one for the police station locks ... (I'm sure he was wishing that opportunity had rolled around BEFORE he went to jail) ... :bop:
And then another odd job at the school, teaching the students "Handiness" ..... he brought home some decent pay, and decided he and Ava were due for a night on the town .... hiring a babysitter for Benjamin, they go out to eat at the Bistro, where dinner wasn't quite right, and Antonio was brave enough to send his dish back, and was awarded $500.00 from the chef :coolthumbup:

Then it was drinks and dancing ....at a local night club!




entirely too pooped to do anything else .... this little family calls it a night, everyone's moodlets are in the green, and all is right with the DiStefano Family in Victoria Isles
