So, I have been slowly redoing Riverview at the world level in CAW and figured I'd share the few pics I have so far. (Well, 1 really, the second is the same as the first, just with notes lol.)

I've changed some of the sidewalks out for dirt "paths" (just a texture swap, some of those paths seemed silly paved) and I've reworked the downtown and the warehouse side of the river to have a few changes...more lots in what is going to be a shops area of town, and just tweaked downtown to only have the central long skinny parks, so that the other side had road access. I liked the arboretum, but I also felt it was silly to have busy lots where there was no direct road connection. I've added some lots here and there, but I'm actively trying to keep under 115 or 120 because I don't want to cause performance issues...less would be better, but there are so many new lots coming with the next 2 EPs that I do want anyone who chooses to play my world, even if it's just me, to be able to use it long-term.

It does have most of the WA fish spawners, and the LN spawners as well, as well as some of the Pets critter spawners (had to download those for CAW lol). I'm adding in bits of decor from other EPs as well, so it WILL require all EPs to Pets, probably. I haven't used any Showtime stuff that I'm aware of yet, but that may change when I can finally build.

This is just something I've been working on bit by bit after our move, I don't have my game discs so I've not been able to PLAY or build, so when I have a few spare minutes as the baby naps or the like, I edit something a bit.

Are you fixing the routing issues as well? I really like this world and had too many troubles with lag from routing to play it.

If you mean all of the sidewalk errors and things, yes, I am definitely trying to fix all of the sidewalk spots where they got lazy and didn't add intersections, just overlapped them. I haven't seen any obvious problems with roads, but if I see any, I will fix them. I may have to go look at the MTS thing that someone fixed everything and see exactly what they did to make sure I catch the rest of it, but I've certainly been trying.

I always thought Riverview was a beautiful world, but needed better landscaping and more lots in it. You are doing an amazing job with it. :D

Yay! this is so wonderful. Did you find that goofy road intersection at the corner of the map under the distant terrain? Another thing I noticed was that there are numerous places where you have gaps in the blue non route-able terrain. I so look forward to seeing your progress on this. I did move you thread to World in Progress, hope you don't mind.

Riverview is the only EA world I've extensively played in, mostly because it was before Caw came out, lol. I too have a redo of Riverview I work on when I'm sick of looking at my current project, so it's been developing very slowly.

I like all the lots you added, and you made a great area for the horsies ;)

I've had less time to work on it this week, though I will try to get back into CAW again soon. We've been driving our daughter to school an hour each way because we don't move into the new place for 2 weeks yet, so we trade off, but that's a pretty big chunk of every day. Staying with my parents has made it easier to transition out here early, but it's a little cramped and we're staying with my parents so I can't really say "Oh, let's just have a goof-off day where we don't do dishes or anything," because my mom is sitting there folding laundry and running dishes and things and the guilt, oh the guilt. I love my mom, lol. We're grateful to be able to stay with them, but it's very different than being in our own place where you can have slacker days and do NOTHING but the necessities. Are the kids fed? Are they where they're supposed to be? Alright, the baby's asleep, the older one's at school, let's play video games!
