Safely Uninstalling Awesomemod

This is old info but just in case there's anyone out there besides me who didn't know how to safely uninstall awesomemod from your game (aka "park" your game as Pescado calls it) and still have a working town, here goes:

With awesomemod still in your game, bring up the cheat console and type "uninstall" (without quote marks, of course) in the console then press enter. Now save, exit, and remove awesomemod.

ETA: Unless you've used awesomemod to change things within your game, like adding more traits than the game allows you most likely will be able to remove it without parking your save first. If in doubt, though, park it first.

I borked my game last spring trying to install Awesomemod, then trying to uninstall it.

Oops! I know it can cause big problems but had never known how to do it before I posted this some time back on the other board. Then as I was going through some more stuff today to put here I remembered I had better post it here because if I ever do want to uninstall it, I will have completely forgotten how. :bag:

Not so much out of the blue, just that I know there are people who try the mod and for whatever reason wish to uninstall it. I'm glad you found it helpful. :)
