Spacerox's EA CAST Recolors

Now I know everyone is capable of this, it's not "genuine CC", just recolors of patterns. Still, we had a discussion and a poll and while there seem to be some who won't use this as a tool, some might. It helps me to see what patterns and colors other people use, what wall recolors, how they do their carpets, all of this can improve what might have been a pretty bland home redecoration or build and turn it into something a little more special.

I hope something I offer here will be helpful to someone out there and my feelings won't be hurt in the least if no one downloads any of it, whether anyone gets inspiration from something I do or not is not really the point...
I also hope that others will get on board and offer their stuff up as inspiration here as well.

I'm going to probably stick mostly with walls, patterns, the occasional carpet and maybe some rugs. Those are things I look for most often when starting a build or redecoration, the furniture and clutter take care of themselves when you have a base design. (In the real world, you start with a pillow, a fabric, a focal point and work out from there, but with everything being a click away from whatever you want in the sims, it works differently than real life lol.) After all, why give you a couch recolored with a pattern recolor I like when I can just give you the pattern and let YOU choose what to do with it?

Anyways, enough with the intro and onto the goods.
Brown and Blue Panel Wall
   

Bubbly Blue (Paint)
I've used this one on the wall in a bathroom in one home and a nursery in another, it's simple and fairly quiet, but a little whimsical and fresh.
   

Dark Gray Stone Wall
   

Mom's Kitchen Wall (wallpaper, I think lol)
   

Simple Wallpaper (I don't remember if this is in paneling or wallpaper...maybe even paint lol)
   

Yellow Climbing Roses (wallpaper or paint)
   

These last 3 are a wall, a carpet and a pattern. I am pretty sure I have the Starry Night and Night Skies right in that one is the pattern and the other is the wall, but if I screwed it up, I'm sorry. I actually did the carpet with intentions to use it as a ceiling in a kids room to go with the wall. The pattern is the same as is on the carpet/ceiling.

Wow,Spacerox, there are patterns you redid here that I usually don't use much because I don't like them, and I really like what you did with them. See? What you think of I never did or just had not yet tried. It's great when someone takes an EA ugly and makes it nice! :thumbsup2: By the way, I love the idea for the stars on the kids' room ceiling.

Okay, these...well, it started as an attempt to recreate something else from another home I lost, but it just kept veering off track. I ended up using it to decorate a teen's room, though, she's a bit of a wild child, so this is totally her style.

The walls are pretty interchangeable, you can use 1, 2 or all 3 in a room. Since they're all from a coordinated color palette and similar level of intensity, they don't "match" but they go together pretty well lol.

There are three walls and one 2x2 round rug:
               

And since I just used this color theme for a room for a design challenge, I figured I'd post the pics here so you can see these walls and rug at work.

I love the dark grey stone, I use that pattern quite a bit but it never recolours to my satisfaction. I also really like the first pattern in the raspberry set, gorgeous colours !

So, having these recolors around has helped ME a bit already lol. I had to totally reset my game to get everything to work properly already and lost all of my presets again, so it's a good thing I had these sitting on my harddrive waiting to be uploaded lol.

Okay, so this one is the all of the exterior wall pieces for a house I'm updating, the Ye-Olde-Tudor-That-Isn't-a-Tudor, again nothing you couldn't do for yourself, but it might save you a step now and then.

   

There are 6 pieces to the set: brown brick, brown brick with blue right and left trim pieces, blue siding, and blue siding with left and right trim pieces.

Use em, enjoy em, make your life easier by having some walls already done for you.
