Ya, I cried at the same times in Gladiator. That's such a good movie.

Okay, I don't know if anyone else has seen the new "Les Misérables" with Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe (who also starred in Gladiator; I didn't even know he could sing), amongst other amazing actors/actresses, but I don't remember crying more at a movie unless it was "The Holocaust".

My daughter took my boyfriend and me to see it on Christmas, and I can't say I've had a much better Christmas present than that. The only one I can remember that tops it is the birth of my daughter 6 days before Christmas. I don't remember more powerful and poignant performances in my life! Even after seeing "The Hobbit", I would rate "Les Misérables" the number 1 movie of the year. My boyfriend agreed, in fact he said that before I could. I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful an experience watching that movie was. If there are not some Emmy Award winners out of that movie, I would be shocked. Hypnotized_32x32

That theater was packed when we arrived; it's a good thing my daughter pre-ordered the tickets. I don't think there was a dry eye in the audience. This movie surely is not for the feint of heart.

Lucky aunt Tontrin!

Anywho, movies that make me cry... "The Lion King", it didn't used to, but after my grandpa died, since he was the closest thing I had to a dad, I can now relate to Simba, so now any time I watch that I cry when Mufasa dies.

"Where The Red Fern" grows makes me cry every time at the end when the dog dies.

And I cried during "The Hobbit" when they were singing "Misty Mountains Cold"... it touched a spot in me. I can't even stop listening to it, my bf is getting rather annoyed because he doesn't understand how I can listen to it over and over, but to be honest I don't know how either. I think it has something to do with the fact that I know what it's like to have my home taken from me.

Technically it wasn't taken, but at 13 that's what it felt like... anyway, yeah, those are my major crying moments in movies that I can remember crying at.

Those are good ones too Nidelia. It's funny, I know just from watching it once, "Les Misérables" will be one of those movies that will always make me cry.

Another one I thought of today that always makes me cry, "The Guardian" with Kevin Costner and Aston Kutcher. I never even liked Aston Kutcher before I watched that movie, and he was wonderful in that movie. It gets me every time I watch it; we just watched it again the other day.

Toy Story 3 ... believe it or not! Hubby even cried too, and for the life of me, I can't remember the scene that was so touching!

I haven't seen that one yet so I went to IMDB.com and read about it; it does sound like a tear jerker.
