Foot Bridge

    Dunes Foot Bridge: This is a model similar to the foot bridges we have built along the Lake Michigan Dunes. This on can be placed across water or a steep valley then lay a foot trail to it at both ends with a foot trail intersection at it. After you are done be sure to update the routing then check your routing. It should look similar to the on in the image below. The only problem with this is that the Sims wander out wider than the bridge while moving across. I have rewritten the bounding boxes to no avail. I believe this is in the animation for all bridges as EA has no foot bridges. I created the bridge becouse I have a small island in my world where I wanted to build a small scenic park but had no way for Sims to access it. With the bridge they can cross over to the island easly. I hope you all enjoy, and if you encounter problems please let me know. To the best of my knowledge the foot bridge is a first.

Oh, wow, this looks great! How many tiles long is it?

2.5 Sq wide and 73 Sq long. That is using Footprint to get the dimensions. I am working on a foot bridge about 35 Sq in length also.

I was just thinking the other day, while in caw, that I wished there was a pedestrian bridge. :)

I think I had some thoughts like that as well, it would be so useful in many situations! Granted, having the sides from Riverview for the footpath is helpful, but it doesn't look right in every situation.
