RE: Castle Canyon
:D What an absolutely wonderful world - this is by far my favorite CC world that I've downloaded, it's so gorgeous!

I can see all of the effort you put into it, especially down by the river. it's simply stunning.

I was wondering if you'd consider making a version with no roads - simply terrain painted roads? :) I'm hoping to write a story set in the Wild West - I'm still building my town and your world is a PERFECT setting for it. ;) I've just been content with blasting cars into the Stoneage every time I see them, but it would be great to have a world with no actual roads, so that people have to ride horses everywhere!

I understand this is a ton of work most likely - I tried editing it myself in CAW but my computer runs out of RAM and crashes. *facepalm* Or if you know of anyone working on something similar? :) I would be SO thrilled to hear it was in the works in the future! <3

Thank you for all the wonderful work you've done, like I said before, this is seriously my favorite world!

Thanks so much for taking the time to post! I'm glad you like it. I enjoy it a lot myself and have been playing in it almost exclusively since it was finished.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to get around without roads, I did contemplate doing something like this with it to make it a true old wet town, but the down side is it's so spread out. Even in a car/taxi it takes forever to get from one side to the other. I won't be able to get to it anytime soon, I already have too many projects in the works with a looming deadline of the 24th for 3 of them. If I make better progress on them than I have the past few weeks I will see about a no road version, I just can't give you a ETA on it.

 You are an incredibly talented creator - I can't wait to see what else you've got in the works! Please take your time - I'd be thrilled if you eventually got around to it but I understand you're busy!

I figured you might like to see a lot I created to go in your gorgeous World. Please don't pay any attention to the Mercer's Landing header - that's simply what I've named my little town!:

RE: Castle Canyon
This world is gorgeous. I need it in my game, especially now that we have a bull rider thing. Well, I'll end this comment with a very appropriate YEEHAA!!

So sorry I didn't comment on your lot earlier! I got sick right about this time and at some point I must have looked in here because it wasn't flagged as unread, but I can't remember when. I was pretty out of it for nearly 2 weeks. :D

I really like it and it fits in very nicely with the western theme of my world. I have some lots that look very old west and eventually want to release a couple shells that could house the RH rugs Jinx made I just haven't gotten more than a couple done :cheesy: I am still thinking of what to do about a no road version, I haven't forgotten, RL side tracked me as it usually does and I'm behind on most of my projects and hobbies. :giggle:

SusieCC Thank you very much! I still enjoy playing this world more than the 'greener' ones. I guess the sand and dirt has grown on me Laughtingoutloud_32x32

RE: Castle Canyon
SimBody the same kind of thing is happening with me on some of the new posts. I'm not sure why they're showing as read when they haven't been read. I'm wondering if it has to do with the time in between log ins. Normally I'm here regularly but I also was knocked out with that stuff for the past couple of weeks so haven't checked in for a while.

BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful.

RE: Castle Canyon
Although I normally enjoy playing worlds with a bustling city, plenty of night life, and active burbs, I've become fond of Castle Canyon. AAMOF, it is such a nice place, all my current families decided to move there. The orphan sisters interact quite nicely with the single lady across the street, the Neanderthal couple has been very quiet, but members of the two alien families actively date each other. Considering the aliens are from opposite sides of the galaxy, this should prove interesting. As I've thrown up a lot of affordable housing, new families move in each night.
