Social Club 57 has been the local watering hole for nearly a century and rumored to be a front for the underworld’s notorious Simsky Clan. Legend has it there’s a hidden room left over from the days of prohibition. Is it a den of underworld activity or just a quiet pub to have a wee nip and a game of darts? The motto of patrons here is “Don’t ask, Don’t tell. “ You can ask if you dare but don’t be surprised if the response is “Why? You writing a book? Leave out the chapter.”

I made this lot as a nod to the Italian Social Clubs that marked the streets of NYC's Little Italy when I was a kid. They were usually on the street level of non-decript old buildings. I tried to capture the feel of these places while keeping the exterior cute and Simish. The Gnubb set on the 2nd floor patio is a nod to the make shift Bocci Ball courts that sometimes could be found in the club's alleyways or backyards.

This community lot functions as both a Bar and a Criminal Career RH. The lot was created in Riverview but works in the other towns. ( I also tried it in Bridgeport).

To have the back room of the ground floor function as a Criminal Career RH just place either Jynx's Criminal Career rug or Winterhart’s version of Jynx's Criminal Career RH rug under the floor rug. Some sims may walk into the room to view the statue but they will not go to the RH rug (underneath the floor rug) and vanish into a bubble head Sim. However, your criminal career Sims when applying for a job or reporting for work will walk to the appropriate spot on the rug and vanish into bubble head and the career menu will appear. If you have Sims already on the Criminal Career track you can have them transfer their job to this location.

EsmeraldaF’s jukebox is recolorable. Just place it in the Social Club as pictured (there’s 2 – one on the 1st floor and one on the 2nd floor). Not only is this a great looking object and completely appropriate to the setting but it also allows you to play your own custom music on the lot (which the buggy EA wall speaker currently doesn’t ).

The secret room is made with a tomb door so your Sims can “discover” it and venture in. The door closes so the room can be re-discovered by various sims. The room has 10 fully stocked cabinets of Nectar that are set to tasteable. That’s a lot of Nectar – so the room will remain stocked for a long time.

The lot has a Dive Bar which will generate a mixologist and Sims can purchase drinks but not food.

1st Floor - Bar, Couches and tables, Tables and chairs, Dartboard, Shuffleboard, Arcade Games, Chess table, Jukebox, Criminal Career RH Room.

2nd Floor – Couches , Foosball Table, Arcade Games, Restrooms, Jukebox, and a Gnubb Set on the terrace.

3rd Floor – Bar storage area with door leading out onto the roof. Hidden room with Nectar racks and table and chairs.

IMPORTANT: You need an RH replacement rug to have the criminal career RH option and can use either Jynx's RH rug or Winterhart's residential version of Jynx's RH rug (which also works on community lots).

Winterhart says the rug sets conflict so pick one rug set or the other.
