the sims 3 and expansion pack file directory

i was wondering if someone could give me the sims 3 plus all expansion packs including generations and send me an image or the full game directory since i purchased the sims 3 via steam and can't use awesome mod so i was wondering if i could get around it by creating the directory so it looked like i had the non steam versions of the sims 3 and all expansion packs

I'm just a little confused here. Please bear with me since I'm not extremely familiar with how Steam works, but doesn't your game have an area in the My Documents folder with game information?

yes but when i am verify my game with sims 3 dashboard by delphany it saids i don't have the expansion packs installed so maybe i am missing just the directories for the expansions themselves

If you have Ambitions installed, or at the very least the update that came out at the same time, then you need to install any mods in the My Documents area of the game. You can read how to do that here and there's a link in that thread to Shad0w's Framework Installer so you don't have to manually create the Mods directory. :)
