I have never used the Jinx rugs before. Do the rugs have the emblem on them when you place them? I downloaded them and a plain game rug comes out when you place it. Is that the way they are supposed to do?
Blessings to you and yours.

I have the package files in the right place and they are showing up in the buy mode, but when I pull the rug out, it has no emblem on it. I looked through all the choices of the rug and no emblem on any of them. So what am I doing wrong? Blessings to you and yours.

RE: [LN or Base Game] Rabbit Hole Replacements (The Rugs are back!)
Hi Judy.
There's nothing wrong with them. They are supposed to look like a regular rug when pulled out and placed in the world so that you can make them look like they belong in any building. They are just cloned off the in game rugs. That way you can recolor them. Then when you zoom out to map mode, you can click on that lot like any rabbit hole lot and have the sim go into the rabbit hole.Your sim will then go to the lot and step onto the rug and disappear into the rabbit hole. I've used these a little bit, and that's the way they worked. You just want to make sure that they have plenty of space around them for the sim to get there properly. I have one sim at Simlogical.com. You will find the rest of my creations here at CS3. Happy Simming!

Is there a tutorial on how to do this somewhere? I'd REALLY like one for the equestrian center.

Mistyfied I'm afraid I don't have an answer to that question and Jynx hasn't logged in for a couple of months now. ModTheSims has a fairly extensive database of tutorials on their Wiki so you might see if anything has been added to that. I'm sorry I can't help you further.

I haven't had the time or energy lately for modding, so Thanks to everyone who've paid more attention to questions asked, then i have.
Generally speaking , you can try to make one of my rugs work for a new building, if the building only has one rabbit hole in it, by changing it's script reference in the OBJK to match that of the rabbit hole's, ang editing the the rugs textures to give it a new icon. Then finnally running it through S3OC to give it a new Object ID, so it can be used with the existing rugs. This is untested and i dont know if it will work |

Jynx, it's good to "see" you again! Maybe someone with more brain power than I have right now could try that method for creating a rug for the equestrian center. Egads, that thing is HUGE!
I've gone ahead and ran the rugs and doors through the rig tool to fix them then gave them some testing in my game (well, except for the LN ones, I can't test those). They appear to be working splendidly. :D BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful. |

Egads, that thing is HUGE! Hey thank you so much - both You Jynx and Regina. My neice will be thrilled as she can have her Harry Potter world back in time for this holiday weekend. Now I just need the bottom 2 right? The one that say Pets fix? My neice doesn't have LN anyway, so if it worked for you Regina it should work for her. Anyway I downloaded the bottom two things and if she needs one of those others as I really know nothing about these to actually use myself. I know when I downloaded them the first time I know there were several there and I downloaded all that were there at the time or is these all an all new group? I am so confused. I just know her game worked great until Pets came along. Okay Thank you all again a little girl will have a very Happy Thanksgiving now. Hugs Reggie (Writin_Reg) |

Sorry for any confusion, Reg, but no, the bottom ones are the LN rabbit holes. You want the ones that say BaseGame in their names, the two just above the bottom two. :)

RE: [LN or Base Game] Rabbit Hole Replacements (The Rugs are back!) (Pets Fix)
Thanks a lot for this awesome tool. Makes my life so much easier. I know one can build costum rabbitholes via dumping the item into the cellar - but this way I don't need any cellar at all. Makes building so much faster :D
