* Ghost hugs Ikandak

It's sad when a pet dies. Especially when people try to cheer you up with "It was only an animal"

I hope things get better for you soon.

Edit: I've got new pictures to replace the "unnecessary ones." And I have a new floorplan that doesn't have a fairy in it, too.

Oh man, I'm sorry about your frog. I have lost two cats this year, and I miss them both.

RE: Building Challenge # 3 - Those Darn Kids!
Thanks everyone. He was almost 2 years old and looked like he was getting better (He stopped eating and looked like he had MBD so I was force feeding him crickets and calcium for almost a month). I guess it's hard to tell what's wrong when they're so tiny, since he was just a bit longer than an inch. He was supposed to be around 4 inches by now. :(

Sorry to hear about your cats, Jaguwar.

Thank you, lkandak.

BTW, what's with the "shiny hole" of your sig? *clueless*

RE: Building Challenge # 3 - Those Darn Kids!
In Ambitions, an inventor can build a mining device that digs holes in the ground. Most of the time they unearth buried furniture or gems, and then leave a hole that can be a tunnel to other holes.

Sometimes they dig a hole into a buried cave complex that they can explore (as a rabbithole adventure) and come back with things they found. (Apparently Outstanding tomato seeds are quite plentiful down there, at least for my inventor. He keeps spending 4 hours down there and coming back with another tomato seed.) These are the shiny ones.

LOL, what Ghost said :)
I wasn't sure what to make my sig and at the time, my sim made their first hole so I decided that I'd put it.

Since Suzetter hasn't been online for a while I've added the poll. It will automatically close in seven days so that should be September 6th.

RE: Building Challenge # 3 - Those Darn Kids!
Hi All,

I'd like to apologize for my recent absence but it couldn't be helped due to a series of incidents.

I was away for about a week and when I came home I could not get online. Turns out my network adapter was corrupted, The tech thinks it was due to the bad lightening storms we had in NYC. My internet stopped working sometime after 8/13 but I didn't realize it until I got home on 8/21. My computer was fixed on 8/28 but there was a still a problem with connecting to the internet. Called my service provider and they thought there was trouble on the outside line so I had to wait until today for a technician to come out. The problem is now resolved I'm very glad to say.

Sorry guys for the delay in responding but I had no internet access until this morning. Regina, thanks for putting up the poll. :)

Ikandak - Sorry to hear about your pet. We just had a cat pass away--Hercules, he was all black, sweet as sugar, 13 yrs old but developed a liver tumor. We will miss him but he'll live on in our memories and hearts.

Jaguwar - I like the relaxed atmosphere of your lot and the unusual pool shape. A very nice layout with good flow and the set up is spacious and without seeming vast. I might have gone a little lighter and brighter for the kids area but that's just a personal preference. A very nice lot it looks like it would fit into almost any Sim neighborhood.

Also, I'd like to note that you made the best use of your picture allotment. Could everyone please note how Jaguwar took the photos to show the lot in it's entirety with two overhead shots and a straight on street level front view pic while emphasizing a few key spots with "sim view" pix. Well done!

You're welcome, Suzetter, and no problem! With all the stuff happening on the east coast many people have been without power and internet, etc. so it's just good to know you're all in one piece. :)
