Safety for Spiral Stairs

Go to the first post in this thread. You will see a spot at the bottom of Post #1 called Attachments. Look in there and you will see a list of RAR files, they contain the .PACKAGE file for the stairs. Choose the one you need based on your game, (with EP 04, pre pets, with the pets fix) You then extract the files and place them in your Mods/Packages folder in your The Sims 3 folder under My Documents.

They work in my game patched to 1.38. I didn't patch to 1.39 yet, but I also think this shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, I'm glad you made it back, Hex, to post this. Working 6 10+ hour days lately has left me little time for testing and it makes it hard for me to remember to reinstall something so I can test it. :cheesy:

tested with the simpack one without ep4 but seem like it is still rely on generation. because my game becomes extremely buggy when i install generation, e.g stuck after any sitting motion (a.k.a reading book), cook until halfway the food go missing, mix drink until halfway the glass go missing as well and etc. hope the package will help me out. really love the spiral stair.

I was able to use the package version without Generations, and didn't see any problems after I got Generations. I'm hoping you have similar luck.

Can someone help me? i downloaded the stairs but i don't know how to put them in my game. they don't show up in build mode. can someone please help me?

This will make it show in your game.

Do you have other .package CC in your game that works? If not, you might need a resource.cfg file as well.

I've been using these for a while and I just wanted to thank you. I love these stairs. They look so much better this way, then if I have to use a straight handrail. Not to mention the fact that I often place those wrong, meaning the stairs can't be used.
