Dracul Isle
Come play this beautiful medieval world full of quaint little peasant villages, grand castles and bustling shires of trade. Enjoy the rolling hills and forests, the sandy beaches and the grassy green meadows of Dracul Isle where peasants, nobles and lords share a quiet life in peace. Or do they? It seems these medieval folks have suffered through their own dark ages when certain sinister strangers came to their peaceful little island long ago in the shadowy night. Does one dare go to the far side of the island? Perhaps, only the brave and the curious will venture beyond that old rickety bridge to find out what really lies beyond. Will that be you? Key areas: Three Small Peasant Villages- each peasant village has the usual community and residential lots as listed. Base game spawners included. Peasant lots: 51 lots fully furnished and some empty lots for building. Peasant Dwelling I-20x30 Peasant Dwelling II-20x30 Peasant Dwelling III-20x30 Peasant Dwelling IV-25x25 Peasant Dwelling V-30x20 Peasant Dwelling VI-20x20 Peasant Dwelling VII-30x20 Peasant Dwelling VIII-20x25 Peasant Farm I-40x30 Peasant Farm II- 40x40 Castles: Four fully furnished castles. Cornwall Castle- 60x60 Dracul Castle- 60x60 Braxton Castle-60x60 Camelot Castle- 60x60 Shires: There are 3 centralized locales full of community services, job opportunities and entertainment. Seaport Shire-60x60 Pub, Diner, Real Estate Office (business/journalism), Inventor's Studio, Grocery Store, Game corner, Doctor's Medical Clinic, Art Studio, Spa, Public Restrooms and Stables. Belfast Shire-60x60 Theater, Pub/Bar, Diner, Police Station, Book Store, Grocery Store, Game Corner, Sculpture Studio, Spa, a Library with a wedding chapel and reception area, Public Restrooms and Stables. Buckingham Shire-60x60 City Hall, Diner, Bookstore, Grocery Store, Pub, Science Lab, Music Theater, Spa, Army Recruiting Station (military), Game Hall, Public Restrooms and Stabes. Community lots: There are many community lots scattered all over the island that meet the needs of the peasants and nobles. Sims can slum in the beach area or travel to the finer part of the island for trade, business, entertainment or jobs. Barnsley Antique Shoppe, Bristol Tattoo & Style Shoppe,Brighton Pool,Brita Pond, Cheshire Park, Croydon's Inn, Darby Shipping Yard (junkyard),Debtor's Prison, Dracul Academy of Fine Arts, Dracul Academy Park, Dracul Academy Fishing Hole, Dracul Isle Cemetery, Dracul Country Church, Dracul Isle Fire Brigade, Dracul Fish Hatchery, Dracul Winery, Earl Pond, Eston Fishing Hole, Glen Pond, Leeds Village Wash n' Dry, Norwick Lighthouse (dance club), Peasant Playground I, Peasant Playground II, Peasant Playground III, Peasant Playground IV, Seaport Cemetery, Seaport School, Seaport Village Rest Area, Sheffield Art Gallery, Sir Lancing Sports Arena, Shakespeare Theatrical Troope, Wheaton Martial Arts Academy, Wigon Pool, Equestrian Center and Equestrian Training Area. Gypsy Camp- 60x60 Located on the far side of the island is a camp of several Gypsy wagons. The colorful wagons form a circle with a small well in the center of the camp. There is a fenced-in stable for the stock and a small pond for fishing. The camp is surrounded by a gated fence for privacy. And unbeknownst to any curious travelers who might venture into the camp, this area is taboo to just any peasant or lord. Take heed! There could be some strange goings-on just beneath their weary feet. Beware! Requirements: Base game, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Outdoor Living Stuff Pack (Highly recommended for the lighting), Fast Lane Stuff Pack and Town Life (just some clutter, not required), and Riverview Free World. You will need the Jinx door for the movie lot to work and the Jinx rugs are required for the rabbitholes, you may find them here, Attention- I have also updated the world for the Pets EP with two new lots. You will need to be fully patched and have the Pets EP. World Preview Pictures: Here are a few highlights of the world. Blessings to you and yours.

Oh Judy, this is absolutely beauteriferous! You might should include the fact this was made with pre-Pets/update version of the game, though, since we're not certain yet the rabbit hole rugs are working with that update.

Thanks so much, Regina. I am so happy you like the world. I finally found the routing problem and fixed it. It played like a dream then. And the world was made before the Pre-Pets update. I never did any updates after I installed Generations. I did not want to take any chances with it messing up my CAW. The rugs will work unless they have the Pre-Pets patch or Pets EP. If they have those, then I don't know. They might have to run them through the Pet tool I guess. As soon as I install Pets, then I will let you know if they still work or not.
Blessings to you and yours.

I enjoyed making it, but am ready to move on to another one. Seven months is too long to spend on one thing, but I am hopelessly addicted. :bounce: Blessings to you and yours.

RE: Presenting Dracul Isle
Judy, it has such a relaxing atmosphere--I could see myself getting lost there.
I was thinking you probably should add the part about it being built without the Pets update to the main post. That might be useful information to some. :) I've also added updating World Index to my list for the real near future--might even do that today, just need to see how things go. RE: Presenting Dracul Isle
Thanks, Regina. I sure love playing the hood. The Sims really love the trade shires. They just go from one place to another in them and have a blast. It makes for a lot less traveling. So far, the shires are playing great with a lot of Sims on the lot.
Yes, I can add a note regarding the update Pets patch. I finally installed Pets and did all the patch updates and the world is playing just fine. The animals look so natural in the rustic environment. Since most of my rugs are inside the shires, I have not been able to test the rugs yet. I am using Carzurapt rugs in my hood and they are working fine, but not Pet tested as yet. After I see how they do, I will put some Jinx rugs in to test them. Do you know how hard it is to get a animal to walk over that rug??? I have not gotten that far with my Pets game. I know they won't enter an arched doorway though, so that might keep strays out of the shires and some other lots.I was going to enter my info for the World Index today. I will be submitting all these Dracul lots soon. Is that okay? And if so, can you add it to my thread? ![]() Hugs, Judy:D Blessings to you and yours.

It just means you will have to replace the outside lighting and a few clutter objects will be missing. You can replace the outside lights with torches or CC of your own choosing. You do have to have the EP's though. Get it and have fun.
Blessings to you and yours.
