Okay, basic enough.

Bulldozed (since bulldozing doesn't destroy lot buffs anymore like it once did, as long as your game is patched...and to have the EP, you kinda have to be lol) all lots in Appaloosa Plains...or just the residences, choose 1 or both, stick the save file in your "Saves" folder and voila, you have a bare version of Appaloosa Plains to play with and design to your taste.

They were just a touch too big for the forums, so they're uploaded to my Mediafire account.

It's a gorgeous western world with abandoned derelict buildings around, autumn colors and river and ocean and 2 levels...a high (yellowy) plateau and a greener lowland on the ocean side. The north border is all mountainous. It's on the small side. About the size of the vacation worlds. The community lots are actually very nice for the most part. I like them quite a bit, though the dog and cart parks seem rather ridiculously large for the amount of stuff that's there.

If you have other EPs installed such as Ambitions and Late Night, there are actually custom lots created for this world with objects and tags from those expansions, built to match theme.
Junk Yard, Salon and Tattoo, Laundromat, Fire Station from Ambitions and a Dive Bar from Late Night, all built to fit Appaloosa Plains. It's a nice change of pace.

That is very cool about the lots built to match the theme. I'm probably going to have to dl this world after getting Pets installed. Thanks so much Spacerox! You rock! :D I was thinking that I'd buy Pets and wait a while to install, but since I am itching really badly to work on my Harvest Moon sims, I really want it installed, because, of course, I want to make the pet characters too. Sunshine

my empty app didn't load :( and its in the folder its suppose to be.

Wow, I have this downloaded but have never yet tried it. I guess it would be a good time to install and see if it works. I don't even remember the post about the laundromat, but I don't recall seeing one in this town. It had Late Night stuff and a tatoo and stylist place from Ambitions, but I never did find a laundromat in it.

I haven't found a laundry mat yet. If i can get the empty appoloosa world to work i'm gonna make one.

Hey Cloud, into which folder did you install it? Today I had time to install it and it loaded fine. It is in: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves. That's Windows 7 and I think Vista. If you're using XP it should be MyDocuments with the rest of the path.

Oh, just in case, did you unzip it from the archive?
