More questions
Is all the cc broken in everyone's game or is it just some things? And when you install Pets, will it install the store items patch and the new Pets patch, or do I have to do that before I install the game? If I do, where do I get the store patch? I did not see it on the official site. Blessings to you and yours.

RE: Pets question again
I believe it will do the store patch itself with the other update patches.
The main thing that is broken is _RIG items, anything with altered slots. Custom beds and tubs, tables, chairs, surfaces, anything where a slot had to be added/moved for interaction with a sim or addition of decor items. It seems most small decor, as long as it didn't have slots added (read: stackables) is probably okay, but as with the blue lot objects, I'd suggest running a copy of all items through one of the fixer tools, even if it's unlikely to be a problem object just as a matter of fact. RE: Pets question again
Almost. EA changed their own RIG in their own items--all of them. It doesn't matter whether slots were altered, it is the slot itself that has changed, altered or not. So, everything is affected. The only reason most decor items would not present a problem is that most sims never interact with decor. But, should they happen to view something, the problem will rear its ugly head.
So DEFINITELY run all objects, whether build or buy, through the fixer tools. Update the RIG on everything, including poses. And then test, test, test. BTW, there were some early reports of tubs not working correctly in vanilla games. So that might (and I stress the word "might") be a side issue .... The inner me ... younger than springtime |
