The Sims 3 Base Three Deer & Moose Skin Rugs by SnowSong
These appear under the "Rugs" category as a single icon in the menu, and when you click on it, you get the three variations. There are two deer skins (both whitetail deer, I believe) and one moose hide. The top screenshot shows the moose hide. They're photo-skinned, so if you don't like the photo-skinned look, then you might not want these.

The file is below all the pictures. It's a zipped file that includes both a Sims3Pack and a package file version of the rugs.

Someone said the original files weren't working right, so I re-uploaded new files. If these aren't working right, please let me know below. I've tested them in my own game and they seem to be fine.

By the way, I do NOT approve of hunting for sport, but I thought these would look great in a Sims 3 game.

Although we don't approve of hunting for sport, we can pretend, believe or whatever that our sims, like the American Indians, Eskimos, etc. used the rest of the animal; nothing went to waste, at least that is the way I see it working for my sims. :cloud9:

Or we can say they're faux fur rugs.

And as for not wasting any part of an animal, there's a lot of research to prove otherwise. Certain native American tribes hunted buffalo by driving them over the edge of cliffs. When they had finished driving them over, they went to the bottom and took only the choicest hides and meat and left the rest to rot. There was a tribe that lived in what is now the southwestern U.S. that drove itself to extinction when the people deforested the area in which they lived. Contrary to popular belief, not all native tribes were as eco-friendly as we like to believe.

Okay, I've heard of some of those things happening. But, of course, my sims would never do such things.

Even with all these facts staring at us, we know our sims would never do that - These just add to the theme and are well made - thanks

Keep on Simming! Thank you
