A matter of translation...
Hi Everyone!
I'm wondering if by any chance anyone here can help me. In my search for some nice blushers for my Sims I found a site with TONS of exactly what I was looking for. The site is Kero7423s Blog (http://blog.naver.com/kero7423) I think its a Korean site and I don't know Korean unfortunately. This isn't usually a problem with sites I visit because I can usually work out how to download things no matter what language its written in - not with this site though. I have spent an entire evening trying to work out how to download from there and come up with nothing! It seems like its a very popular site as there are recommendations for her work all over the web so alot of people must be able to download from there...I must just be particularly dumb! Has anyone successfully worked this out? |

RE: A matter of translation...
Mia go to Google Translate. Put the address in the box, be sure you select Korean in the first dropdown and English in the second one (if English is the language you want to read it in. I did try, but got an error from the link you posted, even with just it. I deleted the period at the end of the link and still no go. When you get to the exact page you are wanting to download from, open a new tab with google translate.

I have actually tried Google translate and it did translate some of the text but I still couldn't see anywhere to click to get a download! I'm beginning to think senility is setting in! |

Nah there's no way it is senility your to young for that. It could be a members only download site and the download button is not there for non-members. Did you check the front page of the site for a place to register?

RE: A matter of translation...
You need to be registered to post and see the download.
Edit - It's Tifa's blog, and its set to friends only, if I recall correctly. |

RE: A matter of translation...
I've given up on the downloads from there. I must have spent hours first trying to work out what I needed to do and then trying to register. Google translate only worked on the front page, the other pages I had to cut and paste chunks at a time and even then it seemed to want home telephone numbers or mobile numbers to register which I wasn't happy about giving especially if I needed to receive a call from Korea to register!
Seems incredible to me that ANYONE who doesnt live in Korea managed to join - but as I said previously I must have some kind of mental deficiency lol. Shame tho - I really loved the look of those makeups etc.! |

RE: A matter of translation...
I can't blame you for not registering Mia. I know any web site that insists on a phone number would be one I would leave toot sweet. I can't imagine any good reason for a site, especially a fan site needing that information.

I don't think that even just registering would help you anyway. I believe that she manually approves people, and if she doesn't know who you are, then you don't get in. I can't even remember why she went and hid all her stuff anyway. I think she had some sort of episode or something, as her creations used to be free and readily available.

Wow...thats a bit strange (IMO). How are you supposed to 'get to know her'?lol. Doesn't really fit the sims 'sharing' ethos, does it.
Anyway, whilst its a bit like looking at all the sweets in a sweetshop window when the shop is closed I'll get over it! |

RE: A matter of translation...
I have no idea - not really up with all these drama attention seekers who run off and sulk at the first critique.
Anyhow, LadyFrontBum has some lovely apple cheek blushers too, they're the only ones I use. If you don't have them, they're definitely worth getting. |
