The dusk ball worked because it was 9:00 at night when I caught up to him again after False swiping him down to 1 hP. He was out-speeding the one I had planned to use to try putting him to sleep or paralyzing him, so my crobat just used mean look to hold him there while I started pitching balls.

But my son said that he was the one that the Master ball was intended for.

I got Pokerus!!!!

I'm busy infecting every Pokemon in my PC with it. And I traded my baby archon to my son so he can infect his Pokemon, too.

(Wouldn't it be nice in real life if being sick was good for you?)

It is a very rare condition that you can catch from wild Pokemon. (Apparently finding it naturally is about 3 times as rare as finding a shiny Pokemon, although once someone has it you can infect other Pokemon.) A Pokemon who has it is infectious for a little while, although days in the PC don't count, and gets boosted EV forever afterward.
