TS3 EP01 World Adventures Douglas DC 4
This was created for use in Create a World only. The poly count is 4,776 and it occupies about 20 X 31 Squares. There are many ways to use this object as illustrated in the included images. It will need atleast World adventures to use. Quick Note: When you place the model in the air be carefull not to place it over a road as the footprint might inhibit the routing. To check where it is just rebuild your routing data after placing the model then display your routing data and you will see a red sguare on the ground below the model. If it's over a road just move it untill it is just off the road. I try to place my models above water or on unused land. Thank You O-Decaff

RE: Douglas DC 4
Ooh, that is spiffy! It definitely looks nice sitting on the tarmac, way better than an empty airport.

BogSims Institute, where you won't find much, but what you do find may be useful.

Wow! This is so neat. How did you get the pics of it flying???:D I have a request. Do you think you could make a Model T or Model A car? I have looked everywhere for one, but have not found one. Or you might have already performed that feat. You know how talented you are. Have a Merry Christmas, Decaff. Hugs, Judy:dancingcow:

Blessings to you and yours. Flower_32x32

RE: Model A Ford
Judy: In Create A world just raise the model above the ground to the height you want then use the rotating tool to give it the angles you want, thats it, but it does have a footprint on the ground so be carefull not to place it over a road or spot you want your Sims to go. To check where the footprint is placed for the model, rebuild your routing data after you have placed the model, then when you display your routing data you will see a red square on the ground that is the planes footprint. I try to place them above water or in an unused area of the map. I am currentley working on a 1937 Cupe Ford Hotrod that will be drivable, and recolor able. I will look into creating a Model A ford I think it would be neat, and I had thought of it before but never started one. Thank you for your comments O-Decaff.

Thanks for the instructions on the plane. I might try it. I can't wait to see your 1937 hotrod. And I will look forward to the Model A. I love vintage cars, so will definitely be getting those.Sunshine

RE: Douglas DC 4 on modthesims
I have the greatest respect for modthesims and have work posted there. They are very stringent in what they will post and I agree with them. When I started creating for CAW modthesims had no place to post such projects but Customsims3 did and welcomed my work. Modthesims told me they only wanted my work if it was made recolor able (I still have that E-Mail) and although I do like to make recolor able objects, some objects especially for CAW are best if not recolor able and I often create them with the option of being used in CAW and in SIMS3 build mode which is not allowed on modthesims. Customsims3 is the only place I post my CAW work but I do occasionally post custom objects to modthesims. Thank you for the question O-Decaff (leroy157)
