TS3 EP01 World Adventures Beachcraft A36 (Bonanza)
In catalog name is Beachcraft A36. The Poly count is 1,310. This model is scaled to within a few inches of the real aircraft. It can be used with the minimum of World Adventure. This is for CAW and Sims3 Buy mode in outdoors, Misc Decor, it's footprint is 8X10. The object can be placed parked or in CAW flying using the positioning tool. When placing this object there will be a footprint left on the ground. Rebuild your routing data after placing, then display your routing data to see where the footprint is (Red Square), make sure it is not over a road as this may effect traveling on that road. I try to place them over water or unused land, but it is a good idea to always double check after placing. Thank you O-Decaff

Oh, LeRoy, this is awesome! Perhaps you said before but my brain has been so full of stuff I need to get done that I'm not remembering, but are these by any chance available within the game in edit town mode? I was just thinking how nice it would be to be able to place a plane or two in an already established town.

No they are only for CAW, but I can edit them and make them available in either CAW or build mode. It's a relativley easy process to do. I did not do it becouse in build mode you would not be able to elevate them as you can in CAW.

RE: Sims3 Build mode Beachcraft A36 (Bonanza)
The updated package can also be used in Sims3 buy mode. Uncompress the update file and just install over the old file.

Ooh, thank you! I was thinking of in the Edit Town mode, though, where you add objects to the town and not on lots (I know all too often I fail to communicate exactly what I'm thinking). To my mind it doesn't matter if it can't hover because I'm thinking it might be a bit odd to have an airplane forever suspended in the air but that's just me. :bag: I love the yellow and red of this one, and how it's small. It reminds me of crop dusters and the like, and one of my SimCity 4 "cities" that's a little bitty town with a huge agricultural area with a custom airstrip lot that I downloaded from Simtropolis. (Yes, yes, I have scads of CC for my SC4 game. )

Of course this also made me think I'd love to see a bi-plane. :D

I know that is why I been creating some aircraft. I put the air strip in my world then looked for extras and there were none. It's like EA makes teasers only to make you want more but they dont have it to offer. I also have been working on a County Fair project with rides and concession tent's that you could place rabbit hole rugs in front of for about a year but I have been slow on it becouse I dont know if it would be used or even needed.

I know, it's so silly, there's that whole air strip and the only planes you might see are the ones flying overhead from an effect. I keep thinking what's the point of an airstrip without at least one plane?
